Dai's a qualified teacher and Charted Teacher for Leadership. With over 30 year’s experience and his beginnings routed in instructing in the outdoors, Dai has worked on many education projects in the UK, Africa and the Bahamas.
As a whitewater kayak coach and swift water Rescue Instructor, Dai is a water safety professional and volunteers for a Lowland Rescue team. His experiences include white water kayaking in the UK and Europe, mountaineering in the Alps and Russia.
Dai has been an experienced Outdoor First Aid instructor for many years. Ultra trail running, mountain biking, bushcraft and climbing are all sports which make Dai’s experiences in outdoor first aid extensive and real. As an outdoor medic for Lowland Rescue, he has incident management experience working across joint services such as the fire service, ambulance service, coastguard, police etc.
